Many who love natural beauty like to cleanse with oils, honey or other soap-free face washes. But sometimes it can be hard to let go of the type of products you liked when you weren't au naturale. Acure Facial Cleanser Gel is a product that's the perfect in-between. This is a cleanser for those who want everything out of a natural product that they would out of its mainstream counterpart, but don't want to settle for added synthetics. It is a foaming gel that cleans your face gently and thoroughly. It's also the most affordable soap-based cleanser with clean ingredients that I have seen yet.
The gel texture creates a really soft lather, and it gets rid of makeup so easily! It leaves the face feeling super clean, but isn't too harsh or stripping. It also doesn't irritate my eyes, and I haven't had any issues with my skin reacting to it. I would imagine this cleanser is best for normal to oily skin. If you have dry skin or sensitive skin, Acure makes some options that might be better suited for you. Only a small amount is needed, so one tube should last quite a while. The base of this gel is a blend of organic superfruits, including acai, rose hip and pomegranate. I love that also includes fair trade organic rooibos, a plant high in antioxidants often used for tea. The cleanser is preserved with potassium sorbate, a fairly safe food grade preservative. And the scent super mild and citrusy. I have a hard time imagining anyone would be bothered by it.
I used to cheat every now and then by skipping the face wash, and just using a Blum Naturals wipe. But since using this cleanser, my package of wipes has remained untouched! It does such a great job, and is just too convenient to skip.
